I grew up in a small rural town in beautiful British Columbia, Canada where I had a childhood filled with epic camping trips, long days by the lake, and snowy winters filled with figure skating and alpine skiing.

After graduating with honours from my high school, I left to go to university to study history, archaeology, and creative writing from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan.

Following my graduation from university, I began my writing career. Most of which was supported by my employment with the prestigious Walt Disney Company – Canada.
