Chester Charles Bennington (March 20, 1976 – July 20, 2017) was an American singer and songwriter who was the lead vocalist of the rock band Linkin Park.
I took this photo of him in 2012 during a Linkin Park concert in Vancouver. At the time, I had no idea that this would be my one and only chance to see the band and hear them play live with Chester. I’m not sure now that I could even see them without him. Even now I can hardly listen to their music without tearing up a little.
Venice is one of the most artistic and beautiful cities I have ever visited. It was hard to pick just one photograph from this city that I loved the most so here’s a few of my favorites. I love seeing the marks from the centuries of flooding that happened in this sinking city.
The Colosseum was the most important monument that I wanted to see on my 2019 trip through Europe. I took more photos of this structure than any other the whole trip. I have been fascinated with its beauty since I was a child. Being able to touch it and feel its history was a chance of a life time.
I spent a weekend in Berlin back in 2019 and one of those nights held a beautiful twilight with the colors reflecting off of the glass on the buildings.
Ireland is a mood. So many of my photos of the island have dramatic skies and green landscapes. This was one particularly stormy day of my trip in 2023.
Photography is my favorite way to share my view of the world. What I see through the lens of my camera, is how I see the word. I try to do as little post production as possibly and what I do change is only to help the image look closer to how a saw it in the moment.
This photo is one that was taken early one later summer morning when the mists were still clinging to the valley before the sun rose to dispel it. This is a very magical liminal time of day and probably my most favorite for taking photos.
